Opening late October, expect 17 nights of music and entertainment in Pitlochry, running alongside the Enchanted Forest (www.enchantedforest.org.uk), as well as events and activities taking place in other towns and villages such as Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Birnam and many more.  Have a look at our website for brilliant ideas for places to visit, things to see and do, and great places to eat or stay, so you can make the most of your Autumn break in Highland Perthshire.

All the Festival Favourites can be found in Pitlochry, such as the Halloween Marquee, where you will find Apple Dooking, Dangling Donuts, Splat the Rat, Play your Cards Right, Hook a Duck, Guess the Witch’s birthday, Face Painting, Whisky & Mulled Wine and Autumn Festival Merchandise!   There will be spooky Ghost Tours when you  can creep around Pitlochry’s dark and spooky corners, and hear spine chilling stories of heinous deeds from the past!  There are 17 nights of Story Telling with music in the Mongolian Yurt, Street Musicians and Entertainers, and our annual Treasure Hunt, Pumpkin Carving Workshops and a YAM (Youth Activity Marquee).  We have a spectacular weekend of Halloween Fun in Pitlochry including a children’s Fancy Dress Competition and any child in fancy dress will be eligible (on a first come-first served basis) for a free ghost tour.  Details of timings and ticket prices are all posted on the website.

The Highland Perthshire Autumn Festival, created by the Highland Perthshire Community Interest Company (the CIC), aims to spread the economic and social benefits of the hugely popular Enchanted Forest to the wider Highland Perthshire area.  From this year onwards, the Festival will include an increasing variety and number of events covering an area of approximately 1,000 square miles.  We welcome you to Highland Perthshire and hope you enjoy what we have to offer.
